They look almost grainy. Nothing about this avatar look realistic to me, except perhaps the feet. And even if the style is different, comparisons are still gonna be made. Every avatar maker on the grid has a distinct style. If you can't compare things because of different styles, then you can't compare at all. Also just a little nitpicky note here....I wouldn't call Mutation Industries's newer works "toony". They're stylized, yeah, but not in a toony sense. And both the fur textures and hands/feet on the MI fox look rather realistic to me. For 1000L you can easily find a better fox avatar that comes with more features, better textures, and smoother sculpts. For example, Mutation Industries or Tokushi.
