This really is an interesting take on a childhood fantasy. I never really cared much for a unicorn but I may add this to my wishlist after the merge.

Truly one of the best avatars I've purchased. It is second only to my Mutation Industries bat.
But really. The MI unicorn has magnificent facial animation, and is beautifully textured and sculpted. The clothes were a nice surprise too.
This avatar practically oozes personality. XD

I've been spending a lot of time in a Dark RP sim lately and the dark fairytale feel of this avatar captured the theam I was going for nicely and was a welcome escape from the cartoonyness of most other furry avatars.

A nice balance of toony and twisted that breaks away from the modern horse with a horn and returns to something a little more traditional I've been told this avatar looks like it wandered right out of a Brother's Grim story. While that works great for me it isn't necessarily for everyone.

If your thinking about getting this avatar just keep in mind that it's probably going to creep people out. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Oops, I just found the one I was looking for, the Karkadann, "a beast so ferocious it could attack and kill an elephant. It was a violent, warlike unicorn, born in blood and vehement in battle. It had the body of a rhino and a tail like a lion. Each leg had three hooves, one in front and two in back. From its forehead rose a single black horn, curved like a crescent. Unlike the western unicorn, it was dreaded by all living creatures and left alone."

Cheers!

Aah, yes, this was a lovely find. Taken away from the now common "horse with a horn", and back to it's roots. Though twisted a little bit, possibly calling toward some of the tales of unicorns in other cultures (a Middle Eastern version that was particularly vicious comes to mind, though I can't remember or find the name).

While I do enjoy and at times prefer a more modern unicorn, there's always time and room for more ancient ones.

I've enjoyed reading the reviews here, makes me want to go review some of the older, mostly pre-sculpty ones I have sitting in my old account's inventory, and see how they stand up to the new ones available today.
