I've looked at all the cat avatars out there and there's none that compares even close to the Kristmas Kittys. The eyes and the moving mouth for text chatting doesn't bother me. They tried to make a more textury "cartoony" look while keeping them prim if I remember right, but the result looks odd when the eyes rotate in certain places. Even worse, it is very difficult to mod different eyes of your own into the head due to the sculpty shape. But that is more a modder's beef and not a problem with the avatar itself.
