Conjoh Kohime continues to release Tiny quadruped avatars. One of their latest avatars is the Tiny Lion. The features and the general build are almost exactly the same as previous Conjoh Kohimne avatars, so this review will borrow from previous reviews.

Observations:
Build and Texture Quality:
- This avatar is smaller than the average anthropomorphic avatar, so a large variety of shrunken prims were employed. As such, this avatar relies heavily on its animation overrider to keep the shapes and sculpts together. Despite this, the build quality of the avatar is of a standard level; clean with no wrinkling whatsoever over prim surfaces.
- Texture-wise the avatar is fairly simple, requiring not much in terms of complexity as much as variation in tones to ensure the appearance of visual depth. The fur coat of this avatar is fairly simple, so the slightest bit of painted fur avoids flatness of textures. Shading and highlighting helps to accent contours and shapes of the body. In the end, the textures for this avatar really flesh out and allow this avatar to easily identify itself as a lion.
Body:
- Being quad, the avatar’s default stance is on all four feet. The paws themselves are small and dainty, complete with pink, feline-style paw-pads. Users are provided with the option as to whether they would like to leave texture paw-prints behind. The forelegs and hindlegs follow suit, both sets are sculpted considerably well enough to appear smooth despite there only being one prim for the entire leg-foot structure. The hindlegs differ from the front mostly in that there is more bulk and size in the haunches.
- As with prior avatars, there is an anus textured included on the hindquarters for this avatar. In this case, it’s been placed in a more realistic position; such that it’s easily hidden by the tail when it is in the down position. Users are able to enable or disable this texture through clicking on the body and selecting the Show/Hide* button. Additionally, users are able to poop with this avatar; an animation causes the avatar to lean forward a slight and shimmy a bit, before a small, brown steaming lump is rezzed on the ground.
- The body itself is stocky and cylindrical in overall shape, but with a bit more development in the area between the forelegs. The tail itself reflects well on a real lion’s, a sculpted, slim tail tipped with a perfect lion’s tassel on the end.
- One of the MAJOR improvements to this avatar over prior Tinies from this creator is that the avatar now comes Viewer 2.x capable; allowing users to wear alpha layers. This makes the avatar look better against semi-transparent alpha textures, as well as gets rid of the cumbersome, large prims that used to surround the body.
Head:
- The head is the centerpiece for this avatar. A number of facial features stand out on this avatar, some of which include the muzzle itself and the mane. We’ll briefly touch on all of them.
The mane itself is two different attachments, using simple sculpted prims to make up a fun cartoon-ish mane. The textures are the same as the tail with stylised streaks runing towards the shoulders and some intentional jags in the sculpts to make the mane look a touch rough and spikey. - Another interesting feature is that muzzle itself. It’s large and wide, yet it still remains the appearance of a feline muzzle, partly due to the way that it was textured. The shape of the muzzle makes this avatar look less like a juvenile and more like an adult.
- The eyes are well textured leonine orbs of gold and slightly slitted pupils. Users aren’t able to change the eye colour with this avatar for some strange reason; clicking the head will merely make the avatar’s eyes open or close.
- Users are able to open and close the mouth, which is full of little, dangerous-looking chompers, and a tongue which can be stuck in or out through the Gestures portion of the HUD.
- The last point we’ll bring up is that of the ears, which, while they do not twitch or move in any way, do look nice and round out the head as a whole.
Features and Heads-Up Display (HUD):
The HUD and every single one of its options has been replicated in the Tiger avatar, so the following explanation is based off the prior review.
Many of the features are controllable through the included HUD, but some of the options are available only through clicking specific body points. The system for getting to options one desires is a little complex and confusing, so we’ll try to simplify and summarise as best as we can.

Animations:
As a tiny avatar with a very small and simple, but cute structure, a lot of work has gone into the animations. The animations are indeed what gives the avatar its poses, attitude, and actions. To this end, the avatar comes with a large variety of animations. Each has been done well, with alternative animations that take into account if the avatar is just playing a sitting animation or if it is actually sitting on an object. As with other Conjoh Kohmine avatars before it, the animation overrider is found in the HUD, so taking it off renders the avatar useless. Fortunately, it is not too intrusive and can be put at the corner of the screen. Users will find animations from lying, jumping, praying, digging, growling, and pooping. The gestures of howling, growling, etc. are reminiscent of a domestic housecat than a lion’s roar, etc., but the end result is still cute, nonetheless.
Customisation:
This avatar comes as modifiable and copiable, so users should be able to modify it easily.
Conclusion:
BAKEMONOYA’s Tiny Lion avatar is a cute little fellow with the regular amount of features that followers of Conjoh Kohime’s works will have come to appreciate. There’s not much more that can be said about it other than the fact that it was well put together and that it has some spunky attitude given to it by its animation overrider.
